Embarking on a new adventure with personalized luggage tags

Welcome back to Mariana’s Diary! As I prepare for my upcoming transition and the establishment of a new creative studio, I’ve been thinking a lot about the move—new city, new life, and of course, a new studio space. With so many suitcases in tow, I realized I needed a way to identify my gear that was both functional and reflected the high-end textile aesthetic of my brand.

Behind the Scenes: The Process

Every project at Marvil Embroidery starts with precision. For these luggage tags, I utilized my professional setup to ensure every stitch was perfect:

Preparation: I began by cutting the stabilizer and securing the fabric within the embroidery hoop, a step crucial for maintaining the structural integrity of the garment pieces. You can see the setup.Precision Stitching: Using my industrial embroidery machine, I brought the designs to life with vibrant, high-contrast threads. The process of the machine at work was captured in copy.

The Finishing Punch: Once the embroidery was complete, I used specialized tools to punch the attachment holes and trim the edges for a clean, professional finish.

The Final Result

The final identifiers, featuring bold lettering like "MVO" and "FTC," provide a luxury look that stands out instantly. Whether they are attached to a sleek pink suitcase or a professional black carry-on, these tags ensure my belongings are easily recognizable.
